Jorge Campos Aguiñiga is the author of Villages of Mourning (Page Publishing). He was active in the Chicano movement as founder and first President of the United Mexican American Students (UMAS 1966-68), the predecessor of MEChA at UCLA. In 1970, he founded the Yale Latino Law Students Association, which now has chapters at all Ivy League law schools.
