is the author of Eggtooth, a debut collection of poems, which won won the 2024 New Writers Award and the Housatonic Poetry Prize, and was a finalist for the Golden Poppy, the Nossrat Yassini Prize, and the Northern California Book Award. His poems have appeared in the New Republic, the New York Review of Books, The Nation, The Believer, and The Yale Review. His poem “Dame’s Rocket” was published in the latest edition of the Best American Poetry. Nathan lives in the Bay Area, edits for McSweeney’s, and teaches literature at UC Berkeley.
